The ASUS P5LD2 R2.0 board is a stable, dependable motherboard for people looking for a household or small office system that won't cause them any problems. An LGA775 socket provides support for Intel's Core2 Extreme, Core2 Duo, Pentium Extreme, Pentium D, Pentium 4, and Celeron D Processors. The 4 DDR2 DIMM module sockets allow up to 4 GB of DDR2 667, 533 or 400 memory.
On-board features include, Realtek ALC882 8 channel HD audio, 8 (4 on back panel, 4 on internal header) USB 2.0 ports, and gigabit LAN. The 4 SATAII interfaces and 3 ATA headers provide plenty of capacity for data storage devices.
