Pros: Many people complain that they can't run the E8400 processor without first booting from a cheaper processor. This is not correct. If you use a flash drive that is formatted fat32 you can download the 0907 bios onto the flash drive and boot the computer up and it will give you the option to update the bios. You just have to read the menu's and pay attention. With the E8400 in the Mobo it took about 3 minutes to flash the Bios and I was loading the OS 5 minutes later. This is a great combination of Mobo & Processor! Don't install more that 2 gigs of ram for the first boot and only 1 video card until OS is installed

Pros: Using E8400 CPU and 8 GB RAM (four DIMMs of 2 GB G.Skill DDR2-1066) I am able to run CPU easily at 4.1 GHz / memory at 1100+ MHz. If you want to run Vista 64 with 8 GB of RAM (GREAT for video editing!) then this board should do it for you. I know it can be difficult to find a motherboard / RAM combination that will run at top speed when stuffed full, and with the G. Skill RAM and this motherboard, it worked well. Getting this combination to run at 4.1 GHz was actually EASY. I just set the clock and multiplier, increased CPU volts a LITTLE, RAM volts to 2.0 and it worked FIRST TIME. Runs stable too. NOTE: use a good PSU when overclocking, like the Corsair 750 that I am using. I'm convinced that you need a PSU that can source and sink a ton of current or the rail will get noisy, making for instability.

Cons: Well geez this is an EXPENSIVE sucker!

Overall Review: Nice BIOS. Loads of features. OTHER BITS IN MY PC: EVGA GFORCE 8800 GTS 512, WD Raptor 150 x 2 RAID 0, WD 1 TB x2 RAID 1 for data; SCYTHE Ultra120 cooler, lots of fans (many fans turning slowly = quiet), Lian Li case, Creative X-Fi soundcard, etc.

Pros: Unreal bios option but don't buy this board unless you know what your doing it is very advanced. This board will do 550 +FSB with a 45nm cpu E8200/e8400/e3110. Had I know this I would have purchased a E8200 because this board will easly hit 8x525 FSB or 4.2ghz at low voltage 24/7 prime stable.

Cons: DDR2 but even then it's such a fast board it beats other motherboard 790I with DDR3. Get some DDR2 1150 or 1200 and watch it fly.

Overall Review: Sh Sh!!! don't tell anyone it can be flashed to a Rampage Formula. They are physically identical.

Pros: Easy to work with and set up. Lots of options.

Cons: Only 2 internal USB headers (the blue ones) with an external attachment for adding 4 external ports.

Overall Review: Made a new system for running 64-bit Vista using a Q6600 and went with this MB. Booted right up with no problems. Lots of set-up options. Can mount a Zalman 9700 CPU cooler with room to spare. LCD post reader is cute and doubles as a clock. Didn't use included add-on audio but opted for an Auzentech 7.1 instead. All Vista Aero ratings are 5.9 except dual channel ram that lists at 5.6. So far no complaints.

Pros: I read reviews, comparisons, benchmarks and any data I could find online about this board before making the purchase. I am totally satisfied with this product. It has exceeded my expectations. Great packing, appearance and performance. Highly recommended

Overall Review: Besides NB temps which run 45C-50C in a room that is 68-72F none whatsoever. Then again video encoding for hours after running a game would heat up any board. Installed components E6750@stock two x1950pro crossfire 2g Wintec Ampx@stock two WD sata Raid config Antec 900 case

Pros: Excellent layout; lots of extra fan connectors. The CMOS reset on the back and on-board power/reset buttons are a neat feature. The plug blocks for the case switches and USB connectors is something I've not seen before and always wondered why this wasn't something done in previous generations. The cooling system is quite effective and the peripheral connections have decent placement given the restrictions of modern boards. The BIOS is awesome, plain and simple. The options available exceed any preconceived expectations. The audio card that comes with the board is quite good -- something I've always wanted from on-board chips is sound that doesn't pick up static/humming/whining background noise from other peripherals, and this delivers. Plus it has sexy blue lights...

Cons: The connector for the LCD attachment is awkward to connect within a case due to its natural proximity to the power supply and the back of the case. I actually bent the tiny pins accidentally and had to straighten them out with tweezers. Unfortunately, it requires connectivity after attaching the mobo to the case, which caused the situation. The cooling system, though necessary, is quite bulky and makes installation of larger 3rd-party fans extra difficult unless you have very small hands or extra long tools. The price is high, but I'm expecting this to last me for several years' worth of upgrades. DDR3 doesn't appear to be supported, even though this utilizes the X38 Intel chipset. Unless I'm wrong...

Overall Review: Excellent combo with the GeForce 8800 GTS (G92) 512MB card.

Pros: High end capacitors, excellent features and passive cooling. This board is fast as lightning! Supports DDR2 which is a plus. Excellent bios feature set and packaging.

Overall Review: I purchased an Intel E8400 CPU for this board, and it will not go to sleep in Vista 32 bit. I have contacted all vendors involved and they point the finger at microsoft. After every hotfix, work around, still no go. And sp1 is still a ways away. According to Asus they are still working on a new bios for the wolfdale core, no word on when it is to be relessed.
