Pros: Very much trouble and problems withat board. Does not detect a lot of hardwear like Hard drives. Optical sound port does not light up at all. Save yourself time and do not buy it . Very many problems with Ram installation and Bios as well. It is my second return to Asus and still having problems.

Pros:
In as much as performance I have absolutely no complaints about the board. The board has many bells and whistles. The bios is rather overclocking friendly. I overclocked a core i7 920 from 2.66 to about 3.8 without any problems. If you're looking for a solid board with a lot of fancy extras, this is definitely a good choice.
This board has more than enough usb ports for any sane person, and plenty of sata ports. One thing I did like was the two serial attached scsi connectors. Which sets you up nicely to try a sas drive.
Cons:
This board to me actually has too many bells and whistles. It has express gate turned on by default. I presume that there is an actual function for express gate, although not one that I have found nor that I have use for. The best I can tell in my extremely limited exposer to it, express gate appears to be a minimal windows based operating system built onto the board. With the heaviness of the board, it takes rather a long time to get to the boot loader, so much so that my old dual core opteron machine gets to the operating system and is ready for use faster than this machine. If you're looking for a lean board, this is not the board for you.
The overclocking palm was a complete waste for me, as I don't use windows and no linux drivers are including. As I found the overlocking palm to be a superfluous feature I never actually searched out any drivers for linux, although there might very well be some available.
Overall Review: I can't say that I'm completely satisfied with this board, although as I said there is no performance issue I have with it. It is simply a rather excessively heavy (in features not mass) board. I built a machine in mid February. I used this board as a base for a core i7 920 and 12 gigs of OCZ ddr3. I put it into a 350 dollar liquid cooled thermaltake case and gave it 850 watts of power. It is definitely an imporovement over my old machine. As of tomorrow I'll have a 1TB western digital drive installed for the sake of storage to complement my 15000 rpm sas drive which I use for my operating system.
Pros: I bought this board as the foundation to a complete new system build, and it has been rock solid. I've used ASUS boards for many years now, and they have delivered yet again. I was originally worried about issues I might run into with a Core i7 build after reading some internet reviews and forums, but even in those reviews, this was the board that "just worked like its supposed to". With the help of the Coolmaster V10 (I bought here too) I over clocked my 920 to 4.0Ghz. I even hit 3.6Ghz with the stock cooler running in the low 70's while running prime95. The SATA connectors are in a good place for a clean install. Some complain that they are under the video card (if you have a large card), but I had all that connected before I installed the card. And really, how hard is it to pull the card out for 2 minutes. Theres a ton of BIOS options, not as many as some, but more than you'll need for a good overclock. Aesthetically, its a very nice looking board. I doubt many will be displeased.
Cons: They say that you can do Tri-SLI with this board. I don't ever plan on that, and would have looked at a different board if I did. A double shot card (as most highend cards are) covers up the slot below it. With one card, I lost the top PCI slot (dont plan on using either of the two PCI slots anyway) On the second card you'd lose the bottom PCI-E slot. If you do put a double sized card in the bottom PCI-E slot, you cover up your floppy connector, front usb, front sound, and front firewire connectors. The bottom slot is good for other add on cards though. SATA, SCSI, or SAS card would good, as well as PCI-E SSD drive. The OC Palm is a neat little toy. I played with it and OC'd to 3.2Ghz pretty easy, and while in windows, but after 30 mins of playing with it, I disconnected it and uninstalled the software. I only got the Deluxe because of the onboard SAS controller. A feature that I've only found on this board.

Pros:
I started off...with another board, that cannot be mentioned in this review,AHEM!
but, This ASUS board ....simply......AMAZING ! configured and booted up on the first try. Well worth the xtra $$ over the raved about board I started with.
Ram seated in this board, the i7-core 940 seems to like ASUS, better than its own and runs like their is no tommorrow. Runs around 45C while playing BF2142 with a high end cpu cooler mounted. MOBO runnin around 35-36 while gaming. RAM...so cool its drinking coffee to keep wam.
ASUS is the CHAMP again !
Definitely dont waste your time, money or frustration with any other board!! I wasted 2 weeks of trouble shooting, and missed out on gaming then said ASUS !! Imma coming HOME !
Using win XP pro 32 bit,Patriot 1333mhx 3x2gig sticks
and an XFX 9800GX2 that is happy to be gamin' it up again !
dont buy anything else, you'll be sorry !
Cons: Nada-zip-zilch !!
Overall Review: OC palm, hardware monitor and Turbo V, easy even for the intermediate puter nerd ! Have at it people, you will be glad you did !
Pros: nice oc configuration - running i7 920 @ 3.6 ghz
Cons: i wish i had more control over fan speeds
Overall Review:
makes a nice system
Intel i7 920, w/Noctua NH U12P CPU Cooler
ASUS P6T Deluxe
Corsair Dominator 3 x 2 (1600Mhz)
EVGA GeForce GTX 260
Seagate 72 GB 15K rpm SAS drives (2 x RAID 1)
WD 1 TB 7200 rpm (3)
LG DVD RAM (2)
Lian Li case w/Corsair 750W PSU
Pros: Great board. Is holding my I7 920.
Cons: Oc pal does not work with windows 7 because the drivers do not exist yet
Pros:
The sata DVD worked fine for me :)
The handheld OC display is great, especially for OC'ing on the fly. Was nice to watch my temps and results fluctuate using Prime95 in real-time. Plus when you're not using it for OC and only have one monitor, it works great to monitor your MB and CPU temps while gaming.
I can't really think of any issues that arose during setup, everything worked the 1st time and the way I wanted it to. The bios menu and AI Tweaker menu are very easy to read and understand.
All in all it's a very well built mother board and the OC palm display comes in really handy!
Cons: more sata ports!
