Pros: reading the mock up of the board it said it had all I was looking for in a fresh board.

Cons: Was building this for one of my closest friends. who lives pretty far from me. Put it all together and everything seemed to go well we decided to go have some lunch. Came back moved mouse to wake it up and got the dreaded blue screen. looked up things at Asus forums.. found this to be a common problem. Did as instructed and no help. flashed Cmos. Seemed to help. Friend took it home. same problem. month later friend drove back the 400+ miles.. had enough..Put different board in.. things run great...

Overall Review: No New Egg RMA ...over a month before he could bring it back. Now i see the board is out of stock... makes me wonder.. just would like to return it and get one that works.

Pleased So Far 4/22/2012 9:17:04 AM

Pros: Easy install, lots of connections. 4 RAM slots. 2 pcie slots. disk comes with great ASUS software, ai suite, fanxpert, etc. open disk to find and install software if it doesn't add the suite auto. BIOS for anyone, easily understandable and mouse clickable. auto tuning.

Cons: Did not come with any rebate info, also could not find it listed on ASUS site under rebates (-1, as it was advertised with rebate, but does not have one or too difficult to find) added a coolermaster heat pipe, seemed to not fit the board correctly as I hoped.

Overall Review: it was between this and a bio star. my wife told me this one was prettier... the after market heat sink being difficult to fit is not fault of the mobo. you everything else to fit mobo, not other way around.

Garbage Customer Service 4/20/2012 9:23:42 AM

Pros: Decent product if it works. As long as you never, ever, ever have to deal with ASUS RMA or customer service.

Cons: This customer service is terrible. I called on 3/26 to RMA my board and they told me that there was no stock available, so that advanced RMA would not be possible. I would have to send my board in (shipping paid by myself) and wait 7-10 business days for them to figure things out. They get new stock every 2 weeks so they also informed me I could call then.

I called on 4/16 and asked for another stock check (which would take 24-48 hours), and also asked to be called by a supervisor, which was supposed to happen within 24 hours. ASUS sent me no email and called me exactly 0 times.

I called to follow up today, on 4/20, to find out it seems like no stock check was submitted on 4/16. Don't know if the guy on 4/16 was just trolling me or if he was just incompetent. They told me on the phone that there was no stock.

CONT.

Overall Review: I asked them what happens in the repair process. They said that a tech would look and test the POST and peripherals. If the board did not work, then that they would swap it out with the same board and send me back that one.

EITHER YOU HAVE STOCK OR YOU DO NOT HAVE STOCK. What is this nonsense? I asked the call guy if he understood that what he was saying to me was completely nonsensical. He said that the repair facility was in another state, and so he did not know what went on there. I persisted and asked if he understood how from my perspective, that what he told me was completely contradictory. He did.

This is so bad, I'm not even going to ship my board in. I have ZERO confidence in their repair process. I'd rather just swallow the 100 dollars and buy a new board from someone that is more trustworthy.

Stop whining -- this board is solid. 4/10/2012 9:21:37 PM

Pros: I've owned this mobo for over a year and I've had zero problems. Running an overclocked i5-2500K @ 4.0GHz (& works fine at 4.30GHz too), GTX 460, GeForce 210, X-Fi Titanium HD, 8GB DDR3-1600 CL8, SSD, HDD, etc...

Nothing but good things to say about it. I suppose if I were running a SATA-III SSD, the Marvel chip would be complaint-worthy as it caps out around ~350MB/s, but it's a wash for the price these boards are selling for, *especially* when you consider the quality of the VRM components and heatsinks for overclocking.

Remember, this is an ASUS motherboard we're talking about -- and for some reason, it seems almost every Sandy Bridge motherboard is getting poor reviews, not just this one. Too many newbs trying to overclock and frying their sh.t, if you ask me.

Cons: USB 3.0 ports seem oddly susceptible to disconnecting and reconnecting my external hard drive when the USB cable gets wiggled.

Other than that, I've got nothin'. Be happy that you get USB 3.0 ports for $110 on top of all the other amazing things this board offers.

Overall Review: This has been a perfectly stable motherboard for the past year. So stable, in fact, that when I listed this computer for sale just yesterday, I completely forgot to include this motherboard in the description. It connects everything together completely transparently and never makes a fuss -- EXACTLY what a motherboard SHOULD do.

Install it, set your overclocking profile, and forget about it.

I am Done With Asus 4/4/2012 3:42:29 PM

Pros: Asus was a good brand at one time, but thats about it read the con's!

Cons: I have used Asus in alot of my builds, but I started having problems when they started marketing the 1155 motherboards, its been a total nightmare ever since, and tech support is a hassle , "can you hold a while I look this up" is about all you get and then they will not follow up on there we will send you a email with the rma instuctions, simply put I would go for another brand besides Asus and in case a Asus rep is reading the case # is 1771652 so you know is legit look it up I give you my blessing,

Overall Review: The piece of junk motherboard is a rma that got sent back to me and it still was'nt fixed ,it fried my cpu,and I lost a pile of data that can't be replaced,I've work on and with Computers for years and I am no rookie when it comes to reporting bad service and Asus is at the top of the list now imo!

HORRIBLE SERVICE by ASUS! 4/2/2012 7:23:12 PM

Pros: Nice board when it worked. Newegg is a great company to do business with. One of the better ones on the web.

Cons: My board has a faulty Intel chipset and Asus is basically letting me stew for weeks and weeks without providing me with a replacement. They won't even consider a substitute board. They would rather have me be irate and incredibly unhappy than suck up a few extra bucks and send me a good board in a reasonable amount of time. The worst service (really, lack of; non-existent) I've encountered in many years.

Overall Review: This has nothing to do with Newegg. Newegg has been great as always. I used to really like Asus products, but after this experience I cannot buy their products anymore. I cannot reward a company with additional purchases after being treated this way. Bad, bad, bad!

Excellent gaming platform 2/25/2012 5:48:08 AM

Pros: P67 doesn't have on-board video option, so there's no worrying about if your game is trying to use the onboard video of your CPU, or if it's using the PCIe card in the slot. It's more of an old school design, where you must have a separate video card. Lots of features, and it's a quality Asus MB all around. I used this for an i3 2120, and I have the more expensive $179 P67 Asus MB in my i5 2500k machine, which is why I purchased this one for my son. It's ready for SLI/Crossfire if needed too.

I'd never opt for the cheapest $60-$70 MB options even when building a budget gaming PC, because with a board like this you have true upgrade options. Once Ivy Bridge comes out I'll be set if I need one of those CPUs.
Paired with the i3 2120 I don't see needing them anytime soon tho.

Cons: Can't really think of any. It worked great right out of the box.

Overall Review: If you're building a gaming PC and want a solid MB for the task, with great features and options, for the price this is probably the best P67 MB out there in that $150 price-range. Asus quality at its finest too. Loving it!

Great Board, but beware of its limitations 2/14/2012 10:31:02 AM

Pros: US3.0
SATA III
Most powerful mATX board I could find

Cons: Digi VRM+ not supported
USB headers only, no internal USB 3.0 connection
only 3 fan headers

Overall Review: This is a great board that I bought to fit into a small case (Thermaltake Armor A30), it was the most feature packed mATX board I could find. I am currently using a Cooler Master Vortex Plus CPU cooler and attempting to overclock my Core i5-2500k. Currently I am writing this review with it clocked to 4.8GHz. I would like to overclock more, but this board does not allow you to directly control Vcore like all of the other P8P67 board do. Beware of this fact.
