ASUS P8H61-I (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great miniITX mobo from a very reputable company. I've owned over a dozen asus mobo's and all have been great i nall instances - this one included. The UFI BIOS is a nice touch and it's very easy to update the firmware. Color scheme on the board is easy on the eyes (nice blue tones). Offers 4 sata 3gb connections. One fan header for chasis fan. Two USB headers, and cmos clear jumper. Overall great little sandy bridge mobo for a tiny kitchen build

Overall Review: Using this to put into a mini-itx case for a vesa mount behind a monitor for use the kitchen. Wish the mobo would have included a speaker header - I prefer the old, and proven, method of beeps as an indication of mobo POST info.

Pros: -Using with an i5-2400S, it automatically adjusts CPU speed from 1.6GHz at idle/low consumption to about 3.3GHz under much higher load. Board seems to handle it just fine. -USB 3.0 is always a plus. -Flexible display options (HDMI, DVI, VGA). Currently using as a dual monitor workstation. Very happy with performance. -Everything just seems to work. (eg. not having any problems with front audio/USB or any other hardware) -New BIOS looks nice and is easy to understand

Cons: -New BIOS interface did not work well with a wireless mouse I was using. Not sure if it was just because it was wireless or not. The cursor kept jogging to top right of the screen. -Price is a tad high, but Id still say reasonable considering size/features. -ATX power connector is in a bit of a bad spot, at least in the case I was using. My relatively short DVD drive still pushes the wires against the RAM. I was eventually able to get it to just barely touch, but still, could possibly be in a better location

Overall Review: No one else has written a review yet so I thought I would. All in all, so far it seems like a worthwhile investment. The whole build went really well, and the computer runs like a dream. This board is going to have a lot of run-time as a business workstation, so time will tell how durable it truly is. Pros: This was the first shuttle build I performed, and although it took a little more finesse to fit the board into the case, once I got it in I have had nothing but success using it. I love the BIOS because it offers an EZ mode with fan controls and boot menu and order, as well as an advanced mode with every option I've come to expect in a decent BIOS. Additionally it has good built in video (HDMI/DVI out, yeah!) and the sound chip is quite good as well. Plenty of USB ports as well. The board itself also generates very little heat (FSB/RAM very cool) even while CPU under full load as well as intense file I/O.

Cons: I couldn't think of one.

Overall Review: I bought this as part of a newegg shell shocker. I built a fantastic theatre PC on the cheap -- granted I can get the old tuner card I had working in MythTV -.-

Pros: Compact in size, but not in features. I bought this board to retro-fit it into an old Acer H340 WHS server. It fits like a glove! I'm running WHS2011 on it, and on the board I installed a Pentium G620T low-voltage processor, and 8GB of GSkill Ripjaws memory. WHS2011 absolutely flies on this thing!

Cons: None (other than it wasn't free, and it didn't come with the latest BIOS on it.. but both are to be expected. :D ).

Pros: - Works as intended - UEFI Bios simple and works with Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard setup

Overall Review: I bought this motherboard as a standby for the new Z68 motherboards coming out soon on the m-itx form factor. It was a simple a clean install. Only cavet was that I had to side purchase a wireless adapter since I need WiFi to connect to the internet for it's location in the home.

Pros: - Price / Value - Ease of use - Very stable and reliable so far - UEFI works with USB wifi keyboard/mouse

Cons: - No way to control blinking LED in sleep - Very very tight fit between RAM and picoPSU

Overall Review: I bought this motherboard to pair with a i3-2100 for a bedroom HTPC. I am using it in a Lian-Li PC-Q07 case with a Kingston 64GB SSD, Samsung DVD-RW, 4GB Kingston ValueRAM and a 120W picoPSU. The picoPSU is a very tight fit against the RAM. If the RAM had heatsinks it would not fit. The power LED blinks in sleep and there is no way to control it in the UEFI (new BIOS) so I had to unhook the LED. Other than that, this is a great deal for an Intel motherboard. It was very easy to install and works with no problems at all. The HDMI output connected right up to my Panasonic 50" plasma and everything was good to go. This is my go-to budget board now. I am thinking of getting another one with the G620 to replace an aging and power hungry AMD system.

Pros: Great Bios, energy efficient, nice gpu boost feature. I used this board to run a mini itx server for my web site and it worked perfectly fine for about 3 weeks until on about the 3rd day of the 4th week, where when I tried to turn my computer on, it wouldn't turn on. I ran a couple of tests on the other components: ram, cpu, cpu heatsink, psu, and all worked perfectly fine on another motherboard. I even tried plugging the front panel switches from a case into another mobo and everything worked fine, so this leaves the motherboard at fault. As a final test, I tried removing all of the components from the motherboard and putting everything back together. Cons: Won't allow the computer to start up. Pushing the on/off button does nothing. The motherboard LED is on when I turn the PSU I/O switch on but the computer won't turn on from the power switch of the screwdriver test.
