Does this product have wifi or do i need an adapter?

It does not have built-in Wi-Fi.  You will need a an adapter (USB, PCI-E, or PCI).

Hi, does this motherboard support nvidia GPU's? And if so, does it support SLI?

Yes it does support nvidia, I have an nvidia card in mine now.  Unsure about SLI, haven't tested.

How many fans can this motherboard support?

ASUS Z97-P has one 4-pin CPU fan connector (PWM) and two 4-pin Chassis Fan connectors that can be used for 4-pin (PWM mode) or 3-pin (DC mode).  Note that this is not a “Pro” motherboard; the P does not stand for Pro.  The much more expensive Pro boards have room for up to four graphics cards and other Pro features.  But the Z97-P is excellent for quality and ease of use.  I'm not a gamer, so the onboard graphics and my I5-4590 integrated graphics are fine with my 1080p 23” monitor.  DVDs and online videos play as good as can be.  Note: it does not have wifi, so I use the LAN port.

It's ATX length, but not width. There is no support under the 24 pin power header.

When building my comp with this mobo I used a single stick of 8 GB memory.  There is a great deal on the same exact memory in a 2 pack.  Can I run 3 sticks on this...and does it even make sense to do so?

This motherboard runs in dual channel memory mode.  The optimal memory configuration is two sticks in the same color slots or 4 sticks using every slot.  The motherboard will accept three sticks but this is not the optimal configuration.  You are probably better off buying another stick of memory that matches your current 8 GB stick.  You'll have 16 GB of dual channel memory and it will cost less than the 2 pack.

Question 6

What BIOS comes installed on the board? I am getting a G3258 CPU and the ASUS website says it is supported on BIOS rev 0310. Will it be a problem for me if the board comes with BIOS rev 0307?

I purchased the board about 10 days ago and it came with Rev 310.  So it is probably alright but there are no guarantees!

Would this Motherboard work in a mid tower case?

Almost all Mid-Tower cases will support ATX motherboards (The type of motherboard this one is). When purchasing a case it should list compatible sizes so just double check and make sure ATX is listed.

Can secure boot etc be disabled so I can install linux.  If so, how?

YES, secure boot can be disabled, but NO it is not required to install mainstream Linux. This is because Redhat (?) has a pre-kernel efi loader that allows any signed linux kernel. You *would* have to disable it to load custom kernel modules, etc.

I have an Asus z97p motherboard. The power supply I just bought for it (a Corsair CX 500) isn't compatible with it--none of the connectors match the EPU connection.  The pattern of square vs. rounded pins is different and won't fit.  What power supplies are compatible with this board? Or are there adapters?

I connected a Corsair CX430 to this board without issue. All ATX power supplies follow the same standard so double-check your connectors. You might be trying to connect the PCI-E plug (6+2 pin, for graphics cards) instead of the EPS plug (4+4 pin).
