ECC memory for use with Xeon, I assume it does what it is suppose to do? Any specific ECC kits tested with this board?

I installed the Mother Board and it didn't work.  I sent it to ASUS for repair and spent a most frustrating month of not being able to find out the status of the mother board replacement or repair until they finally sent a letter indicating that the mother board had a scratch or some kind of minor damage and that they would replace it for $120.  However, I was able to get a higher capability ASUS mother board (glutton for punishment) for $134, so I did not purchase the "replacement board".  I had problems with the second mother board as they had not programmed the MB to recognize the USB ports, the internet, and a few other things.  They had sent a disk with the MB which was supposed to take care of all of this, except that the disk was for a 32 bit board, not the 64 bit board that I had to purchase.   Spent much time with technical support downloading pieces of program onto a laptop, burning disks (since USB ports wouldn't work and I couldn't connect to internet and was to the point that ASUS told me I was going to have to send them the MB to take care of the problem.  They had provided much more tech support this time, but there was no way I was going to send them another MB, so I kept messing around with it until I finally was able to make it work correctly.  Loaded Windows 7, 64 bit on it, and tried to get things stabilized and then did the upgrade to Windows 10.  Things are working pretty well now, but I think that most of the  minor problems are Windows 10 related, rather than MB related.

Bottom-line, ASUS is not at the top of my hit parade right now.   Not because the product may not be top quality, but the tech support and the "omissions" in setting up the MB to work really SUCK!  If you buy a MB, buy a warranty to be sure you get a "no questions asked" replacement - preferably from New Egg, rather than ASUS.
