Has this motherboard been shipping with the factory seal intact?

Apparently somebody's providing inaccurate info.. After I submitted a negative review on April 13th about my motherboard not having a factory seal, there was a response from Asus customer loyalty - U.S support who stated that Asus does not include manufacturer factory seals on their motherboards..  That being said, I've gone ahead and posted the manufacturers response..

Question 2

can i use ddr3 24000c memory on this board?

I was unable to use the DDR3 I had purchased initially, I don't believe it's possible. To be fair I don't recall if it was 24000c or if that changes the actual physical size of the stick, but for me it wouldn't fit. I had originally bought Corsair Vengeance 8 gb sticks of DDR3 and it wasn't compatible. Switched to DDR4 and it went in instantly.

Is it possible to take the thermal armor off to paint it?

Yes, the thermal armor can be taken off.. Just locate the mounting holes that attach the thermal armor to the motherboard, both front and rear, then take a philips head screwdriver and remove each screw.. Then just reverse the procedure when ready to reinstall the armor..

Does this have onboard sound, and how many fans can i use with this?

This does have on-board sound, and the quality is fine for general purposes.

According to the specs on Newegg, here are its fan ports:

I know that Kabylake cpu's are not supported by Windows 7, however, will this motherboard play nicely with a Skylake cpu and Windows 7? Thank you in advance!

Yes, it should after installation of the new motherboard and CPU I plugged in my hard drive that had Windows 7 installed on and it ran like a champ.

will a 1150 intel processor work on this motherboard? Also, I currently have DDR3 2400 Ram will this motherboard work?

Jonathan, please look at the specs for this board, even the simplest description above calls it a LGA1151, so no not 1150 but 1151 socket CPU and DDR4 not DDR3. There were some boards around this time that supported both but I'm sure they would have advertised this fact.
I do like this board i bought it for the fact it had a vertical bracket for the new M.2 drives which were reported to have heat problems, bur as using that disabled a few Sata slots I have moved my M.2 to the more conventional mounting spot and added a full length heat sink.
