The ECS RS400-A motherboard offers great value for money, ideal for value-minded users. Based on the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset and featuring an integrated ATI Radeon X300-based 2D/3D onboard video component for enhanced graphics, it can be kicked up even further with a PCI-E graphic card (for the PCI-E X16 slot). It also features an AGP Express slot for compatibility with older generation AGP graphic cards. The AGP Guardian technology prevents your graphic card from getting burnt out and ensures 100% protection.
This versatile board features a Dual Channel DDR2 667 architecture (2 GB max capacity) with full support for faster Intel Pentium 4 800 MHz FSB HT processors for memory and power to deliver powerful performance. The on-board Realtek 8100C LAN and ALC655 audio chipsets eliminate the need for external add-on cards, and give you great sound for the money. The board's equipped with four expansion slots (2 x PCI-E x1 + 2 x PCI) for major add-ons. 4 USB 2.0 ports provide fast data transfer up to 480 Mbps.
