The ECS 945P-A (V1.1) motherboard is power-packed with advanced features, great for a high-end system. It features an Intel 945P chipset to support Intel’s dual core 1066 MHz FSB processors (Pentium EE, Pentium D, and Celeron D) with Hyper-Threading and 64-bit enabled tech. It is equipped with four 240-pin Dual Channel DDR2 667 memory slots that can support up to 4 GB RAM. The ECS 945P-A (V1.1) is CrossFire-enabled and features two PCI-E X16 graphic card slots, for linking in two CrossFire GPUs for the ultimate gaming experience.
The ECS 945P-A is equipped with four SATA 3 Gbps connectors for a more reliable, safer, and faster system. It also features three PCI expansion slots and one PATA connector (connectivity for up to 2 IDE devices), to meet your expansion requirements. The on-board Realtek ALC880 audio chipset delivers cinematic 8-channel sound. and the Realtek 8110S chipset improves Internet connectivity and does away with the need for a dedicated LAN card. The 4 USB 2.0 ports can connect to a variety of devices, providing up to 480 Mbps transfer rates.
