Does it support ddr3 ram?

it supports ddr4 ram only, but in the speeds listed, some of which are cheaper than others.

does this come with sata data cables?

Yes, I believe it did. All the connections I needed came with this board and my power supply. Am really happy with what I got. Don't forget to reinstall Windows if you are replacing a computer instead of shelling out $100 for a new license if your Windows is decent.

Does it support Win7 ??

No. With the 250 series Kaby Lake chipsets, Intel officially discontinued driver supporter for Windows 7, making it incompatible with this board.

Can you overclock on this motherboard ?

I don't know but It did not work for me. Powder on automatic off. I spend 1 day long for this problem.

I see this fits ATX cases, but is it mid tower size, micro, full?

I have a mid tower case and it fit fine, so it should also fit in a full and I expect it might fit in a micro, though the most difficult part of building my PC was installing the motherboard in the case. If you can at all I'd recremend buying at least a mid tower to save you the hours of pain you'd have installing this motherboard in anything smaller.

Does it support overclocking?

Yes. But it's not really the best mobo if OC is a feature you're really interested in.

Any idea on where to get additional LED strips? Most of the one's I find are powered directly from a seperate controller on the PSU as opposed to being handled through the motherboard headers...

Phanteks makes some led strips that run only on the motherboard. you can buy it from newegg by searching for "Phanteks PH-LEDKT_COMBO RGB LED Strip Combo Set"

How many 4 pin fan headers are there?

it has 3 4 pin system fan headers and two 4 pin cpu headers
