Why won't my gigabyte z890i ITX run RAM at advertised speed? I have updated BIOS to latest version, XMP is enabled and 96 gigs 6800 mhz ram installed. RAM runs at 2800 mhz according to my system software (NZXT/CUID), but BIOS states 6800. The CPU is an Ultra 7k. It seems slower thatn my 13700k and 64 gigs of 6400 RAM. I am baffled!!!

George, I believe your BIOS is correct, so I wouldn't sweat it. Concerning your CPU performance, from an FPS review that I read, these new Intel CPUs need to run on the high or ultimate performance level in Windoze, rather than the default "Balanced" power setting. Hope this helps.
