Question 1

Does this motherboard have integrated graphics? Or will I have to buy a dedicated graphics card or get a PCU with an integrated graphics card? I eventually plan to use the server headless.

The motherboard itself does not contain a graphics chip on it.  But if you pair up the motherboard (which uses an Intel C226 chipset) with a Intel CPU which has integrated graphics then you do.  The Xeon E3-1200 v3 which is the recommended server CPU for this board comes with integrated graphics, being a Xeon it also supports ECC memory on this board (provided you use ECC DIMMs).

Other 4th Gen Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs with integrated graphics would also work on this board, but then you lose ECC support.

Question 2

Will MB support crucial 8GB 1GX72 DDR3 PC3 10600 registered ram? I have 32gb and want a MB that supports it along with Intel quad core.

No. You need unbuffered ECC DDR3. I used kvr16e11k4/32i, which is an Intel validated ram. Newegg dropped it for some reason, but IIRC there is a similar line item without the Intel validation.

Question 3

Do the onboard graphics work when using a xeon e3 1200 series haswell processor?  The processor has integrated graphics but there is some confusion if it in fact works wth the xeons.  Anybody running the board with the onboard graphics and a xeon processor?

I don't think it has on-board GPU. Only server class motherboards do, this one is a workstation class. That means, you have to get a dedicated GPU or get a CPU e3-12×5 series with embedded GPU.

Question 4

Does This fit in the phantom 410 ? it says it fits micro atx and normal atx but what about super micro atx???

This motherboard is a standard ATX formfactor, and will fit the NZXT phantom 410 case.  The "super micro" phrase refers to the manufacturer of the motherboard - Supermicro, not the form factor.

What's difference between X10SAE and X10SAE-O (if any)?

On supermicro web site, I just see X10SAE.

does this board work with server 2008?

Yep. The only thing I've had a problem with is the Raid controller software.  Doesn't seem to want to work. (in Windows server2008)  works in the GUI before you hit BIOS.

I have this board but can't enter bios setup.
Del, F1, F2 etc doesn't work.  Any tricks to this?

Try different keyboard, sounds like bios doesnt recognize your input device which would prevent you from entering the bios as the keys wont work.

Why would you need to run two monitors?  This is a server board not a home PC user board.
