Nice Mobo 11/19/2007 6:15:01 PM

Pros: Mobo installed easily. Bios was easy to set up. Recognized all hardware on initial boot.

Cons: Chipset fans are not necessarily loud but not silent, but if you have a Big graphics card or several case fans you won't hear them anyway.

Overall Review: The documentation was ok, but the company website doesn't have much information and I found more recent drivers (realtek and nvidia) on those websites instead of foxconn.

Fried 9/6/2007 1:08:37 PM

Pros: Air cooled chipsets, many options in bios.

Cons: Does not OC well at all. Somehow mine decided one day to not run with 2 gigs of ram, could only handle one. One week later, won't boot at all. Goes into bios and then freezes after 5-10.

Overall Review: If you want a mobo for OCing or anything at all stable or useful, don't get this, get an Asus.

its OK 8/22/2007 10:50:17 AM

Pros: I like the layout of this board, even the SATA connections

Cons: Could not get this board to run a SAS raid controller. tried two different controllers and the bios would just freeze on boot even after disabling *everything* in the BIOS

Overall Review: foxconn support is absolutely nonexistant. they would only try to blame 3rd party vendors when I asked them about getting the raid card to work. the problem is clearly with the bios, will have to wait for an update.

ok mobo 8/6/2007 9:55:57 AM

Pros: Easy installation, very nice layout. The cmos Jumper was at a very good reach location. bios have alot of setting to play with and it supports EPP memory which is a plus as well. of course the price is good for a 680I board with xx bucks rebate.

Cons: if you plan to use a Q6600 with this board and OC it. i would suggest you look somewhere eles. as i have Q6600 my self i can't get it to OC over 2.9ghz. and even at 2.9ghz im not getting very stable in window. and i have to raise the voltage up by alot. theres also a error message pop up when you overclock your CPU. it said something that 267mhz processor has been install system will run at reduce speed because is not supported. I've contact foxconn, they state that they dont give supports for motherboards is being OC... ( why the hell would i spend 200 bucks and buy a OC board and not OCing it??? ) and their CPU voltage can only raise up to 0.2500 volt max. and raising the NB volt will result very unstable in games...

Overall Review: if you plan to get a cheap 680I board just to use it with default setting this board will be your best choice. but if you plan to do some OC. i suggest you look at other brands like evga or asus or even P35 chipset.
