if I have mother board by foxconn(h61)is i3/i5/or i7?

Hello & Good Day to You - Your question isn't really a question, but it's more like a statement - so this is what I have at the moment.

My H61MX Foxconn MoBo is currently running the - Intel 1155 3.5GHz i7-3770K Ivy Bridge CPU, with Turbo Boost to 3.9GHz capabilities.  I am also using 2 8GB sticks of Corsair Vengeance 1600 for a total of 16GB's, because you can - but only if you plan on using Intel Ivy Bridge CPU's.

But, if your just asking which of these CPU's will work with it, I'd have to say - Check with the Foxconn Website first.  I did and I started with an i3 CPU(for a few months), then a friend gave me his old i5(worked even better and was faster then the i3).  And for over a year now - I have been using an i7 3.5GHz - and it's a work horse.  MoBo has never had any Hiccups or issues, and I have left it on on for 24 hours straight for weeks to with no troubles as well.

Hello & Good Day sal d  - To answer your question - Yes. yes they  will work together, and without any troubles or hiccups.  The first CPU I bought for this MoBo was an Intel i3-2120T LGA1555 2.60GHz, and I was only using 4Gb's(2x2GB's) of CORSAIR's TW3X4G1333C9A MeM.  And it run very well and stable with no problems what so ever, was super quick with the programs that I use.  I have since up-graded and have gone to using Intel Core i3 3240 @ 3.40GHz Ivy Bridge, and I'm using an 8GB(2x4GB's) kit of Corsair's Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800(since I'm using an Ivy Bridge CPU now). Hello again..

I just upgraded to windows 8.1 PRO x64 and I tried to update my graphics (Intel HD 2000 as from the specification of the board) whether from windows update or downloading it directly from foxconn or intel website. my desktop crashes/freezes during installation and the only thing I could do is restart my pc but it won't let me reach the desktop again as it freezes/hangs after the windows logo. I rolled back the driver in safe mode and it fixed the problem. What is the problem? what should i do? I really want to update my on-board graphics in to latest version until I buy a video card. hello, I bought the v2.0 of this board and I am wondering if this board is compatible with evga Gtx 660 superclocked 1gb because I've read the specs of this board and it has PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot and the gtx 660 requires PCI express 3.0 x16, someone from the store told me that it is compatible? I am planning to buy that card but it's kinda confusing. it may not be compatible and will only waste money :(

Question 5

I read the description of this mobo here on Newegg, and the "CPU Type" says to use - Core i3 / i5 / i7(LGA1155).  But under the "CPU Support List" on Foxconn's website, it reads that you can also use Pentium G1610 thru G870.  Who should I believe?

The Gxxxx series are mostly supported. I'm using a Celeron processor on mine and it got recognized without issues.  Check the ECS website.

Hello All - I just noticed this in the spec's - DDR3 1600(IVB)/1333/1066.  I know (IVB) means Ive Bridge, but what does this mean - 1600(IVB)?  Thanks to all who respond...

It means, If you have an Ive Bridge CPU, you should only use this style of memory with it.  Can't use the lesser speeds with IVB CPU, hope this makes sense.
