Pros: -Power/reset button onboard -Roomy -Sleek -2x USB 3.0 -2x eSATA ports -1x Mini-Display port -Celcius readout on motherboard that works really well. -Tons of options in the more than adaquate bios.
Cons: -No IDE (Who really uses IDE anymore anyways). -All SATA ports are, at least in my case, right next to the edge of the frame on my rig. -PCI slot doesn't fit my Creative Titanium sound card. I will be needing to purchase a new one.
Overall Review: Although I have to buy a few things extra to make sure I'm back in gaming business, this motherboard itself had little to do with that. It was an oversight on my part, so no eggs are being taken away from this beast of a motherboard. This motherboard is great for anyone who is looking to run an intel i-series processor. The Temperature readout is key for me as I'm used to running around 76c(168F) even with 9 fans running at over 70% capacity. This new motherboard and processor are running at 48C(118F). On full load I kept checking to see how hot it was getting, and it kept going between 54c(129F) and 55c(131F). It never reached above 58C(136F). The only time it reached that high was playing maxed graphics on Saints Row The Third after I got the military and every gang member around me I could find and then proceeded to launch rockets at everything I could see. That, in my opinion, is a great combination with the stock cooler in place on the processor. My system as of right now: EVGA z75 SLI LGA 1155 Motherboard i5 3.2(3.6) quad core processor 16 GB 1333 Corsair DDR3 RAM 4890 320-bit 1GDDR5 Sapphire Vapor (over 5 years old and beats most cards in ambient occlusion stand offs all day.) 1TB Seagate Barracuda (7200 32MB Cache)
