The EVGA X79 Dark is a re-imagination of the EVGA X79 platform. It comes in an E-ATX form factor with a full 12-layer PCB. The memory trace layout is optimized for compatibility, improved overclocking, and full eight DIMM memory support. The CPU VRM is redesigned with the best industry IR power stages, ensuring efficient power to your CPU. The X79 Dark features a single PCI-express x4 slot and five PCI-express 3.0 x16 slots that support four-way SLI. Included is a slew of great onboard devices, including an additional four-port SATA 6G controller for a total of six SATA 6G ports, dual Intel gigabit LANs, and a USB 3.0 controller for a total of six USB 3.0 devices.
