Is anybody using this mobo with Intel Core i9-9900K Coffee Lake 8-Core CPU?

Yes I am. I mated that EVGA board with the I9-9900KF processor. Works perfectly zero problems. Haven't looked into overclocking yet, and may not as this combo is plenty fast. I play farcry at a pretty high res with good results. Using G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) for memory.

The best type of case for this motherboard? ATX Mid Tower?

Mid tower will work. Just be cautious of cases with a full length PSU cover. The front panel connections are pointing down and the wires need to be plugged in prior to mounting board.
