I was running this card on Windows 10 until the latest update then the computer will not load to the login screen. It get to the windows logo screen and just gives the spinning wheel and does not go past that. I have not had time to trouble shoot the issue to a resolution yet.

Does this have audio in the HDMI (without hooking up a sound card to it)? I have an ASUS video card which does not have audio and am looking for one which does.

Yes it does.  All HDMI outputs put out Audio.  I also did research for you online for a bit to make sure that THIS graphics card does.  And it does.

Will this card work with Windows 7?

Yes. It works with windows 7. I installed it on a windows 7 home edition. Now the computer plays games smoothly and effortlessly. As the video card uses it's own RAM, instead of the RAM in the computer, all the other programs run much smoother also.

I have a Hewlett Packard HPE-400z, AMD 2.90GHz Processor, 16.0 GB Ram, Windows 7 OS.  Wondering it this device: 1) is compatible; and, 2) will stop videos from glitching?

I think this card is compatible, but I'm not sure it would solve your problem. Does your PC still have the stock power supply?  With all that  Ram, you would for sure need a larger PSU to play games at higher levels. Also do you know what video card your Pc has now? If this happens while viewing normal video , it might just be that your system needs a maintenance software like Advanced windows Care.

No it does not come with a low profile bracket. I had to purchase the XFX Low profile bracket kit for the slim line / micro case I was using. The XFX Low profile bracket kit worked like a charm for me. I tried including a link and an item number and Newegg's system doesn't let me include it, sorry. Model MA-BK01-LP1K

Which card would be better this card or a 1gb radeon 6570 xfx card?. I want to use dual graphics with an a6-6400k.

In all honesty, the slight different in tech ability between the two versions isnt as high, by today's standards to even consider them "better" than the other, but the extra gb on the 6450 makes it a bit more stable for duo monitors. To be transparent, I have not used the 6570. I chose the 6450 due to lack of money, and the rather sizable value for the price tag the 6450 got me. I've had this one since September of last year, and thus far, I've seen a large improvement in the performance over the stock card I was using. And the stability, and frame rate improvements I've gotten in League of Legends, and traditional MMOs has been lovely. Look at the price tags on the two. If this product is far cheaper, it's a no brainer. Im a fan of this product.

Will this work in a PCIe 1.0 system?

Supposedly, PCIe cards built for newer specifications are backwards compatible with older specifications.

I've personally never tried it and can't speak to how well it works in real world scenarios. If it does work without issue, you still might run into a bottleneck as PCIe 1 isn't capable of PCIe 2 speeds. It's a low power card though so I suspect (though I have no numbers to back me up) there wouldn't be a large bottleneck.

My question is, will this card work with my Windows XP setup?

Does it come with drivers for XP?

My motherboard is the ASUS M5A97 r2.0 bought here on Newegg.

I'm currently using the ASUS Raeon HD 5450 card with no issues.

I ran a search for - radeon 6450 windows drivers - and found xp listed in that search.

Appears that it is still has some support from AMD even if they don't ship with the card.  I don't know if they do or not as I don't need the drivers provided on that sort of disk.  Don't even remember if there was one.

I suspect that it may run fine with the drivers you have now.

I can't really give anymore information than that due to the fact that I don't run Windows at all any more.  Never ran XP.

Do maintain a Vista install for my Dreaded Mother in Law.  But she runs on the Intel Graphics which is plenty for her occasional internet use and checking email.
 
AMD supports a wide range of drivers however and you should be fine with something they provide.

If you choose to try a Gnu/Linux to replace or share drive space with your XP I would recommend installing Mageia from the default DVD install disk which will automatically see that you need the proprietary driver and install it if directed to do so.

Actually it will run fine on the FOSS drivers but if you are a gamer the proprietary is probably better.

I run on the FOSS drivers on most of my installs but maintain a Mageia install on here so as to be up to date on it as I also maintain Mageia on my wifes laptop.  Like my desktop her laptop is pure ADM and she has the proprietary driver for the graphics there so I maintain the thing on mine the same way.

Frankly I see no difference between my installs using the FOSS drivers and the proprietary ones on the Mageia installs but neither of us are gamers and my son tells me there is an improvement with the proprietary drivers for that purpose.

I know that most graphic cards need a power supply of 350W, my computer has a power source of  220W. Is this card supported by this amount of power? Is this card compatible with my computer power supply?
