Question 1

do you need to dedicate any power?

Accepted Answer

I would probably have at least a 700 Watt Power Supply minimum for your computer if you choose this card. It's a great card though. Runs Skyrim and Fallout 4 well.

Question 2

what was wrong with said item ?

Accepted Answer

I purchased this in March as part of a system upgrade. It has performed flawlessly. I examined the board prior to installation and saw no obvious defects. (I'd like to point out that I am trained in electronics repair, and as part of that training learned the value of a thorough visual inspection). However, I did realize that the board barely fit into my half-height tower. It nearly touches the drive cage at the front and the PCI power connector is pressed against the inside of the side cover. It is possible that it was simply too large to fit into a previous owner's case, but that is only a guess. Again, flawless performance, very happy with my purchase. I normally purchase Galaxy versions of the Nvidia cards, but very happy with this one.

Question 3

what was wrong with it ?

Accepted Answer

My assumption is you asked what was wrong with it because of the low price. I bought this video card because I already had one and wanted to SLI them together (if that's how you say it) to double my power. I am really not that much into graphics to tell whether or not the two cards should have yielded better results but together I have had no problems at all running the games I play. The newest game I have is GTA V. I do have games that came out after it but have not played them yet (playing Zelda on my Wii U). GTA V runs VERY smoothly and I do not anticipate any problems with my other games. I play GTA V in 3D so that does take more power. My guess is that my response to you is not a huge help as I am not using it alone. Overall, for what it's worth, I have to say I am not experiencing any problems with the video card. I hope that helps a bit.

Question 4

Can I SLI this card with a EVGA GeForce GTX 960 DirectX 12 04G-P4-3967-RX 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card ?

Accepted Answer

When running cards in SLI its always best to use the exact same card so one isn't taking on more of the work than the other. That being said you can still do it (most likely) but if you don't have either card its probably better to just get a much better card instead of two 960's. I used to SLI an MSI and ZOTAC Video card and everything was fine but they were GTX-550 ti's and not the greatest as is so I bought a single 960 to replace and haven't tried to run it in SLI yet. Hopefully that is helpful to you.

Question 5
