Can you run Two Monitors at the same time with this card ?

Yes you can run two monitors with this card. Depending on your motherboard, it might take a couple of minutes to boot up the first time. Then all you have to do is right click on your desktop, then left click on screen resolution. Your monitor 2nd  will show up there, but you might have to right click on it and left click enable.

Does this come with a cable to run the dual link? If not where can i get one.

No it does not come with cables. My HP Monitors had both DVI and VGA cables with them so check your monitor to see if it takes DVI. Newegg will have cables or a local computer store.

Question 4

Can this card support two monitors, of which one is dual-link DVI quad-def?  The second monitor would be an ordinary 1080p....

This would be for programming - lots of windows, lots of text - no games.

Yes. The quad link is definitely needed as well but it dies work. I have sli setup and dual monitors. One of which is at 144Hz. And ive had them installed for the past couple of months with minor issues.

Will this support 3 monitors?

It does, but one of them will turn off and turn on, by itself and very often you will see a "there is no signal" message. estrange but is happening to me, still trying to solve the problem....The monitor that is going to give you this problem is the one that I have connected to the mini HDMI connection ....the other to DVI work fine.

Will this dorp in a slot and output HDMI from a HP Envy 700xt Desktop?

I bought it for an e-machine desktop. The onboard video card malfunctioned, so I disabled it and used this video card; saved ditching the motherboard which is still working fine. This video card works great and since it has a HDMI port, it should work for you. Hope this helps.

What is the min. power supply rating??

I run a 400 watt power supply with no problems. The card does not draw much. The card is being used in a business workstation with only the video card, DVD burner, and the disk drive. Not much of a current draw in that system. I would think that any power supply 500 watts or better would be more than adequate. For my home system I run a 700 watt power supply as the higher wattage power supplies are generally better quality.

What is the minimum power supply requirements for this card?

The minimum power supply depends on other factors in your system such as number of disk drives, fans, memory, CPU, etc. The video card is not the only consideration.

A 700 watt power supply would work just fine with a fairly well populated system.

The system will only draw as much power as needed. A larger power supply will not be as stressed as a smaller power supply. Don't skimp on the power supply as a sub par power supply will be nothing but aggravation.

is this a half length/full height card?  I have two dual monitor cards I can't use due to size and my lenovo says that is the length/height i need.

This is not a very good video card. It is ok, but you may be disappointed in the quality of the picture. As far as size, it is exactly the length/height it says it is.

Is this compatible with an 300watt power supply?

It may run with a 300 watt psu but i definitely would NOT recommend it. Under load it would probably crash due to lower power issues. If you can even get it to run with that small psu
