Is this card a single slot card or dual slot ?

While the MSI RX 460 LP only takes up a single bracket slot, the fans on the card are two slots wide. This means that you're going to need dual slot width inside of your PC despite only one bracket being used. The card itself is fairly short and didn't have any issues fitting into my mini-itx PC.

does this card require any external power or do i just plug it into the PCI?

You just plug it in. It has no external connector. I'm using it in a hp Compaq 8300 elite with a 240w power supply and it does just fine. Fans are a touch loud under a load but not annoyingly so. Its a great card

Is this card worth getting despite the reviews?

It depends on what you want and what price you want to pay. This is awesome for Overwatch, Paladins, Rocket League, DOTA2, LOL and you can play other AAA games with lower settings. If that sounds like you, this one is for you.  Mine is working great. I have RX 480 as well in my main rig but I can't tell the difference in MOBA.

Does this come with low profile bracket for SFF machines?

Yes it does, but mine doesn't line up correctly, so it wont install. My lowprofile bracket covers like 1/4 of the hdmi port.

Is this backwards compatible to work in a PCIe 2.0 slot?

Yes it is. I'm running it on an AMD AM3+ motherboard that only supports 2.0.

does this one has a normal size braket in the package?

Yes. It also comes with a small form factor bracket, which I may add, does not fit this card at all.

I plan on putting this in a pre-built SFF,  Does anyone have experience with how high the temps get on the card and also the fan noise?  Thanks!

The temps are around 160f when under constant load and the fans tend to stay quiet unless they max out. Of course the fan speed can be adjusted manually in msi afterburner to your preference. I personally don't let the card go past 150f. At idle the card is very quiet and hovers anywhere between 89f and 105f.

What is the actual power usage of this card? I know it says it has a TDP of 75 watts, but that is just the "Thermal Design Power" aka the rated maximum... for example, the 1050 ti has a 75 watt tdp but usually hovers around 57 watts, and in SOME cases can spike as high as 90. I want to know what is the actual usage of the card?

I own this card, and under benchmarks where I artificially force the GPU to 100% load, I never see it go over 65 watts... that said, you can manually increase or decrease the power limit of the card using the bundled MSI Afterburner software.

Does this product allow for AMD Freesync?

I know the normal-sized RX 460 offer Freesync, but I can't tell if this one does too?

Question 10

Will this card work with a 240w power supply? i see the recommended is 400w, but i've heard of people using as low as a 180w power supply. What are the risks in using a lesser power supply than recommended?

Yes it will work. I'm using it in a hp Compaq 8300 elite sff with a w240 and it works fine. Its very stable but over time it may strain the small psu
