Hi, I have a HP pavilion a630n. I have never upgraded the video card, just the Ram. Will this one fit and work in mine to upgrade and replace the original manufactuers video card? Thanks Richard.

Yes it will work. You will need to use the dvi port with your monitor or the dvi to vga adapter if your monitor only has a vga port. This card has 1 dvi port and 2 display ports, display ports are different from hdmi ports. I use it with 2 HP Elite L2201x monitors which only have these type ports. You will need to install it in the PCI Express x16 slot on your motherboard.

Does this card support 3 monitors?

This HP card will run 3 displays, verified as I have a radiologist who has this card with 3 Dell UltraSharp U2412M, running at 1920x1200. Technically the GT 630 shouldn't be able to run 3 displays as I ran into this issue with an EVGA GT 630, so I'm not sure what HP did to this card to make it work with 3 displays.

I'm running an ASUS M2NPV-VM AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard.  It's memory standard is DDR2.  Will this video cards DDR3 memory standard cause a conflict?

I'm looking to get off the integrated motherboard video chip because recently, all my internet browsers (Chrome and IE) display artifacts after a few hours of use and YouTube always has choppy video with perfect audio.

The MB restricts my options because of it's PCI Express v1.0 x16 connector.

Any help/leads would be awesome.

I purchased this video card for an HP computer with slightly different spec then the board you are using. That being said it does share some similarities. It does have an integrated graphics card and the motherboard memory standard is DDR2 if that what you are memory standard referring to, and the video card slot is also PCI express x16. I've had no video problems or memory conflicts with this PC since installing the card however I did have some issue getting it setup buy that could just be isolated to me. I was going to leave a link to my motherboard specs but I'm not allowed but if you search for the (HP Pavilion p6243w) the full PC spec with motherboard should come up first. Again, I've had no issues with either memory conflicts or video playback using this card. I hope this helps and happy upgrading.

Hello, I have a Lenovo H515 desktop. On the product manual it states that I can add a 2 gb GeForce GT 635card, but I cannot seem to find one anywhere. Would this particular model work?

Since I bought 1 of these cards from Newegg back in January of 2014, Newegg has contacted me to ask if I might answer your question.

I purchased the card and it works with no problems in my machine which is not a Lenovo.  Mine is a straight forward system, custom built with an Asus motherboard and other off the shelf components.  My system contains 3 video cards with dual outputs so that I can run 2 monitors off of each of the 3 cards.  Yep, that's right.  I'm running 6 monitors simultaneously and it'w a great system for me as I use all 6 screens in my home-based CPA office.

Will this video card support 3 monitors (2ea 19" and 1ea 24")?  Its for a Dell OptiPlex 390 model.  Im guessing it has 1 dvi and 2 display ports but you have a few models (same model # and picture).  Will this work?  Its for office work and not gaming.

The model i have is the same HP GeForce that's in the image. It does have one DVI port and two display ports but I only use the DVI port in my system and the card comes with one display port adapter but I think mine was DVI to HDMI. It should run two displays but I'm not sure about a third but I don't see why it would have a second display port and not allow for it's use as well. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I know nothing about computers and I need some help. My current graphic card is ati radeon hd 4350 and would this be better and compatible for my computer?

If it's a desktop computer this card should be compatible.

Now as to better, GPUboss (a site for comparing graphics cards) says yes.  It beats the radeon handily in most areas, one area of concern though is power usage.  This card has significantly higher power demands than your current card. I would say make sure that your Power Supply Unit (PSU) is at least 300 Watts, 200 Watts might manage but just to be on the safe side 300 is where I would look.

Depends if you need something for gaming or not but based on your other card this GT 630 or HD 6670 will work . But look at the EVGA GT 630 on the site for about $64, this HP one is a little expensive for what you get. I only got this one because it had 2xDisplay Ports and I had 3 displays one uses DVI and the others Display port. Problem for me was I didn't have HDMI on my displays so the EVGA GT 630 wouldn't work (evga: 2xDVI, 1xMini HDMI). I added the SAPPHIRE Ultimate Radeon HD 6670 1GB to give you another option, its a little more powerful then the GT 630 without needing to think about changing your power supply.

NOTE: if you want a more powerful card based on your system you may need to worry about upgrading your power supply and worry about space in your case
