All you need is one PCIE X16 slot open to use. The one caution I would give is to make sure you have three available PCI power connectors available. You need two 8-pins and an additional 6-pin to power the card. Hope this helps.

I put on my pc almost 24/7 and play most gfx demanding games and it doesn't overheat even the slightest. It does its' job really well so I don't see why you would need to.

I threw out the box and can't be bothered to take it out from my mobo but it actually specifies it under the "specification" tab, which is 11.0" (L) x 5.9" (W).

It's pretty huge so unless you have a mid to high tower, don't bother.

Will a 860w 80 plus platinum psu be able to power two of these cards in SLI? If so, how much headroom will I have for extras?

Yes it will, but you will have basically no headroom. These cards draw 250w each, but can pull up to 400-450w each if given the chance. If you manage the wattage and prevent them from sucking more than 250, thats still only 360w left over. I wouldn't risk it. I personally have a build with two of these cards (780ti Kingpin edition, which is what I'm assuming you're referring to, if not, then they wont use 450w.), and I'm using dual 1000w PSUs. That's because I have a ton of extras and a super custom water-cooling system, but hey. I didn't want to have to upgrade in the future. I'd pay a little more now to get a better PSU, otherwise when you need it, you'll have to buy another PSU, basically wasting the money on the weaker one.

If you're going with a build using this video card, go for a larger case. Looking at pictures Of your case feel kinda ifffy on its ability to fit in there.  If only imagine it fitting if you do w pro job with the wiring and placement of the cooling system to be as space efficient as possible.

No you will need a dual psu setup as 1 will draw 450 watts so 4 combined is 2000 watts all together plus the other components.... i would stick with only 2 anyways your cpu will bottleneck the system and not let all gpus hit max potential

How high a clock can you achieve on this 780ti with liquid cooing?

Well, out of the box you are looking at 1072 MHz Base Clock
1137 MHz Boost Clock, I was able to overclock on air to 1197/1975 and on water I was able to get 1726/1900--I don't think I would run 1726 on water consistent because of temps, but a little lower clock and your temps would be under control.  I have an XSPC RX 760 tri radiator doing my cooling and the Classy waterblock, just a heads up, but you can't find a better 780Ti, I def recommend this purchase, awesome GPU, I am putting in my second one in sli now, so good luck, and let me know if you have any further questions.

I am working on my new future proof gaming rig and I am stuck on what power supply I need to get. I want to SLI 2 GTX 780 Ti's with enough headroom to overclock the CPU, RAM, and maybe even the GPU in the future. I've been doing a lot of research and 50% of people say that an 860W PSU is enough but another 50% says you need at least 1000W's. I am trying to get a 80 plus platinum PSU that is fully modular. My choices are either Seasonic 860W platinum or 1000W platinum. I would even get a Corsair AX Series PSU but I have heard that they get coil whine under load but I am not a Corsair PSU expert so I don't know. I just don't want to overkill on a 1000W PSU when an 860W would be enough? Detailed answers would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to answer a question with a question but why worry about overkill on a psu when planning to spend 1700-1900 usd on GPUs alone? Also it never hurts to have extra headroom on voltage in case you plan to oc and don't care to replace a psu in the rare event that the 860W doesn't have enough power to give. IMO anyway its always best to go the safer route than try to cut low and hope for the best.

i need to know if i can run these in a two way sli with what i have or will there be bottle necking i already own one and it works beautifully?

Your i5 can handle 2 of these no problem, no issues-- may i ask why you want the Kingpin version of the 780Ti? you will not get any more performance vs other 780ti's that are probably less expensive-- the only purpose for the Kingpin is if you plan on using LN2 cooling (liquid Nitrogen).
