I can't get this card to run stable. Random lockups and reboots. Older cards work fine. Advice on most stable driver? Or do I have a lemon?

I really like this card. Works great for me. Bought it last November. I have been using driver 26.21.14.4120 dated 11/6/2019. I think I pulled the driver direct from NVIDIA. I don't remember if Zoltac actually has drivers on their website or not. Random lockups and reboots could indicate a bad video card, but they can also indicate heat failure. Even though this card is small, it can still run hot. Check to make sure you have proper/clean ventilation. That is at least the cheapest and easiest fix. Next step would be to check the actual minidump files to see if the system recorded what actually caused the crash/reboot.

I'm comsidering buying this for my Dell Inspiron mini tower as a second graphics card. This was advertised to me as fitting compact towers, can someone confirm?

yes it is super tiny with the power wires "which stick out the back of the card not the side like a normal card" its only about 7" long it is a very compact card and you should have no issues with it
