I am wanting to use 2 external monitors and not use the monitor on my laptop. I use a wireless keyboard and want to free up work area by locating laptop under the desk. I will use 1 ext. monitor as my primary and the other ext. as extension. Will this device work in this application? Are drivers included?

Hi Glenn. I have this product and am using it with a docking station. The drivers are included on a CD in the packaging. I find this product to be extremely fiddly in my three monitor setup (one DisplayPort, one VGA, and the USB/VGA). You can only put the monitor with this product on the far right, and the image quality is not great. I often have to unplug the USB and plug it back in, and then reassign the primary monitor to the center one. I go through this routine daily. While this product does work for the application I need it for, I'm sure I'm putting a lot of wear and tear on my USB port. This might work for your purpose if you already have one display port of some sort on the back of your laptop; if not, you might want to go with a docking station. Good luck!

I want to plug into the usb on my Mac, and display image files (.jpeg) from Mac folders on a second display which is SVGA and from an older PC based system. Will this work? Its ok if both the Mac and the other SVGA monitor show the same display simultaneously. I'm not trying to use as a separate window/screen.

I am not using it for the purposes that you want it for. However, I can't imagine it not working. Good Luck
