Pros: Works perfectly for TV and Blu-Ray.

Cons: The problem came when I replaced my Blu-Ray for an HTPC. The HDMI video works great until the PC goes to sleep. For some reason that creates a situation where the only resolution is to re-plug the power on the iogear receiver to get video working again. The aforementioned rude and unhelpful tech support claims this is a known issue and suggests disabling sleep. That's not a great solution for a HTPC that needs to be powered on 24/7 for TV recordings and almost requires that sleep be enabled.

Overall Review: If you have this attached to a device that auto-syncs resolution, it gets a little comedic and tedious watching the 15 second show of the 2 devices trying to get on the same frequency/resolution.

Pros: Quick setup, great picture quality, no delay.

Cons: Just one, but critical - it drops the signal and goes black about every 20 minutes. Unacceptable.

Overall Review: Everything was great, but it started dropping the signal altogether, the TV screen goes black. I have to cycle power to bring the picture back. Completely unacceptable. There are many good reviews of this product here, I will try to replace it, but if not - IOGEAR will go off my list.

Pros: No setup required. I didn't even use the remote control. No jitter with 25 feet through two walls to go through. The units do a lot of good handshaking. They turn themselves on and off based on whether the remote TV is turned on. Replaced Nyrius which needed a lot of reboots. No HDMI splitter needed because it has a pass through.

Cons: When in use, they run hot.

Pros: Easy setup, plug and play, small in size, easy to hide.

Cons: I wish it was $50 cheaper so that I could justify buying more of them.

Pros: * Easy setup. * Can connect receiver power via USB to TV USB without the use of the included power cable. Receiver turns on or off when the TV is turned on or off with no problems. * Image and sound just as if TV were hooked up directly to cable box. * No signal drop-outs even though going about 20 ft through a wall, a floor, and a metal heating duct. * Price compared to other quality systems on the market.

Cons: * Have had double button presses when using my cable box remote, but that is probably due to the remote itself, rather than this system's IR transmitter, so I didn't take an egg off for this. I will probably change out to a universal remote to replace both the TV and cable box remotes, which will most likely resolve the problem.

Overall Review: I was pleasantly surprised at how well this system works, and would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Needed to upgrade our wiring but could not get the wires from the receiver to the monitor. This was the solution... It is better than running a 30 foot HDMI cable through the room.

Cons: Sometimes it takes a while for the image to make it to the monitor, sometimes it goes out after an hour or so. Sometimes we have to turn all the two boxes off and back on. And when the monitor is too close to the receiver box, there is interference on the screen seen as a degradation in the image quality.

Overall Review: Having said that, It does allow us to use the home theater again. Perhaps there is a wireless system that is better, but this is the one we have.

Pros: Easy to set up, practically plug n play.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Bought this to replace a similar IOGear product that finally died after 7 years of indoor/outdoor use. Does exactly what I need, broadcast the signal to a TV outside.

Pros: This device was easy to setup and for the most part the picture was good. Initially as it first presented the picture there was a little pixelization, but it cleared up within a few seconds and was stable for hours.

Cons: After moving the Xbox One to the room with this device, I started to notice that while playing Xbox One games both controllers would randomly disconnect. You could then quickly reconnect them by pressing A. This was accompanied by some random "digital blocks" on the screen that coincided with the disconnects of the controllers. It seems that this device uses similar spectrum as the controllers because replacing this device with a hardwired HDMI cable resolved the disconnects, which I tested over many hours of playing games. I have also noticed the DirectTV wireless genie boxes in my house have more issues when this device is on, probably also similar spectrum. I am really disappointed because I have this ugly wire hanging off my projector in the middle of the room that I was trying to get rid of. Looking for creative solutions from the manufacturer because constantly loosing controller connections is pretty serious from a usability standpoint.
