This model does not have a remote with a head phone jack even though it is in one of the pictures. Right?

The Roku 4 does not have a headphone jack in the remote.  The  Roku Streaming Stick (2016), for instance, does have the jack in the remote.

Question 2

The picture shows "B Stock" sticker. What does that mean?
Can I use the ethernet port to connect this to the router for wired connection?

I believe B stock (Refurbished) simply means the item was returned by a customer and can no longer be re-sold as 'new' (A stock)

And yes, this Roku has an Ethernet port which allows for a direct connection to your router, or a network switch, which would be connected to your router

Also, this Roku performs much faster than my 3 other, previous Roku models (most likely because of its faster processor)

Is this the Roku Ultra?

It's the Roku 4 Ultra (4400R model).  Best I can tell its the previous model of the Ultra.  The giveaway is the "4" on the top of the unit versus the "Roku" name instead on the newer ones.

Question 4

My father is going to be in the area for a little while. If I purchase this, will he be able to access the channels he's used to at home?

I think you'd need to be more specific, I could interpret your question several ways.

If you mean - he has a roku box at home and home is here in the US - then when he registers the device with roku via his own account, he will have access to all the same roku services he enjoys on his current box.

If - on the other hand - you mean that he is not in the US but based overseas, then you'll probably find that each individual channel may or may not be available when he returns home.  Example: Netflix's UK selection of online programmes would be different to those on offer in the US (but the account would still work).

If however he doesn't have a roku box I'm not sure how to answer the question.   Hope this helps.

My Roku 3 keeps getting a blank screen and I keep having to relink it is my roku 3 dead and does roku 4 have similar issues or malfunctions?
