Will the (SYS-5037A) work with WIN 7 PRO or WILL IT REQUIRE SERVER SOFTWARE?

This hardware is capable of running either a client or server operating system. My final build was based on Windows 8.1 using a 10 core Xeon, 2 SSDs (striped) for boot, Quadro K600 graphics card and 32 GB RAM. It runs like a champ. Never had a problem with any aspect of this configuration. Highly recommend this barebone setup if target CPU is Xeon. Good luck.

How much ram does this server have?

This server has NO RAM, NO CPU, NO graphics card and NO Disk. It is a barebones server, which means motherboard pre-mounted in a case, with a power supply and the cables necessary to hook up the disks. You will need to buy CPU, Heatsink, RAM, Video Card and Disk to make it work.
