Can these be used for burning family photos and videos with music onto a bluray video that can be played on any tv  using a bluray player?

First you have to have a Blu-ray drive that would allow you to burn a Blu-ray disc. Then the proper software would need to be installed, which normally comes with a Blu-ray drive/burner, then choosing the proper format to burn the disk and close it out so it will properly play on a retail Blu-ray player that you would have attached to your TV. If you have all these bases covered you should have no problem producing a quality Blu-ray disc which can be played on almost any Blu-ray player with maybe a few exceptions. Hope that covers all the bases.

any compatability problems with dvd burner or my nero 9 program?

So far (about 100 discs burned) no problems whatsoever with burning these BD-Rs on my LG Blu-ray burners with 2 computers using Nero 9 and Nero 11.  The only odd thing encountered is that about half of the discs registered on Nero as 6X compatible instead of the maximum rated 4X and they burn fine at that speed when indicated.  The surface of these discs produces an almost professional appearance when printing on my Epson Artisan 725.

So, does it have a sticker that you print on? Cause I know I'm not shoving a disc in my printer :/

No.  It's a "printable" BD-R.  The top surface of the disc is coated such that it can be printed on with one of the inkjet printers that has the CD printing feature such an as Epson R800 or a Canon MG6820.

Can I use this to burn a dvd of a movie from a mac?

I use this for backing up data which includes Blu Ray media. I have had very good result with the Pioneer BDR-207D drive. I have used upwards of 400 of these discs without many coasters.

Are these LTH or HTL BD-R discs?

The disc ID reads RITEK-BR2-000.  Based on a site regarding blu-ray licenses, these are HTL discs.  From within Imgburn, they are identified as HTL.

What is the media ID code of these discs?

The media code cannot be found on the disc packaging, it must be scanned from an actual disc using a utility like DVDidentifier, ImgBurn, or Nero DiscSpeed. Some examples are: Philip R04-000, CMCMAG BA3-000, Ritek BR2-000, et al. It tells you exactly who manufactures the Blu-ray media regardless of brand.
