it can improve cable management depending on the case you have, really no different to regular full modulars however in big cases and in the case you have to put the power supply on top when using an older case then id say it can help a bit to keep the cords organized but id say it wouldn't make much of a difference, but in the case that you're putting it in a normal case like mine where I put it in a nzxt you might be a little cramped in the back do to the case just barley having enought room to fit the cords coming out the side however it still works perfectly fine if your case can fit it at least

I put mine in a nzxt case, for sure not recommended and it is definitely cramped however it does work perfectly fine and I've yet to have problem with it so far, so I'd say its fine just make sure the cords aren't making a very uncomfortable 90 ish degree angle at the base of the connector and having the fear of breaking cords but even then the cords are sturdy and should be fine as long as the power supply fits to begin with
