is this power supply good to use for gaming computers? also is it reliable and efficient?

I used it in a Blue LED style gaming rig. Worked perfect and looks amazing! Never ran into any issues and I had plenty of ports left for expansions. Just make sure you use clips or ties to keep the cords well kept. It's a bronze rating on energy efficiency so it did me well in that department.

Question 2

How many Case Fans can i connect to the psu directly?

There are 2 strands of the 4 pins. The Amps/volts are capable of 3 large large fans per strand. Or 4 medium fans, 6 small fans. If you have a connector changer from 4 pin to small 2 pin(like motherboard fan slots) then you can connect fans that way also. Most aftermarket fans come with this connector I speak of. I personally have 2 medium and 2 small hooked to 1 power strand and have no issues. Again its all about the strand volts/amps you draw, instruction manual will have more info on this.

Is the fan easy to swap out?

Super easy. Just few screws and the case opens and the fan comes out.

Will this power supply be enough to handle two 970's  (rarely will OC them), an i7-4790K... I know this might be stupid but I'm very new to building computers?

Number one thing required and never want to stress is your power supply.
 While it's barely enough watts for that, and according to makers individual strands rate high enough, I wouldn't use this power supply for that.
 You will want decent cooling and multi HD options possibly. This PS is still running well for me, but never go cheap on a professional gaming rig you want to have expanding capabilities.
 Always make sure your PS pushes over 25% more watts then you need and always spend the extra money on high rated PS.

From the Pic, I can not tell 100% if I can install this as a bottom-power supply for my case; the N82E16811133213 - Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Snow Edition VN700M6W2N

Would you recommend this PSU for this case?

The PS must fit fine in your case. The PS shall be placed with the fan up. I used the PS in a smaller case and I had not problem.

Will this fit in a HP-Pavilion P6-2143w?

Trevor, Sadly I am no professional about HP cases. I can tell you this mounts on the bottom of my case. I have an after market case and most cases are all the same PSU bolt configuration in the rear. That is the best I can help you on if it fits. Its important that you look into your rig/setup and see if it will be enough watts. While most people thing you just need a minimum watts across the board. This isnt entirely true. high watts total does usually lead to having enough on the individual strands. But you will need to double check that this PSU has every power hookup strand you need. ITs Crossfire, so dual Graphics cards, 2 cords with 3 plugs for your CD-Rom drives/hard drives.  Even has a power plug for a floppy drive. Has both motherboard connectors. I should say the one connector with the additional piece for more watts.
 Sorry If this doesn't help. I dont know about your manufacture Case, I am assuming that they are all the same bolt patters for PSU mounts just the same as aftermarket cases. This is a Bottom mounting PSU.

Hi I'm thinking about getting this for a COOLER MASTER ATCS 840 RC-840-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case. Would this power supply be compatible with the case and a BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85W FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard? Thank you very much

As far as the tower goes I think you'll be fine. I have a RAIDMAX AEOLUS ATX-818WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case and it fit in my tower no problem. The motherboard shouldn't be to much of a problem either but I can't give you any concrete evidence on that one. Good Luck.
