WILL THIS POWER SUPPLY FIT MY HP PAVILION SLIM LINE PC?BECAUSE MY PC HAS A SATA HARD DRIVE PLUG COMING FROM THE PORWE SUPPULY AND ALL THE WIRES ARE COMING OUT FROM THE SIDE NOT THE REAR OF THE POWER SUPPULY?AND THE SIZE POWER SUPPULY IS 9"X1.8X3AND1/4?

The unit should work.... If not, you would need to invest in transferring the components in a slimline system to a traditional atx case where power supplies are standard. If you do not know how to do this, then get someone whom is knowledgeable in doing this... I am pretty sure this will help preserve your pc that was purchased.... Look at all the pros and cons of going from a slimline to a regular atx...   Now buying this power supply, I cannot guaranteee it will work on this model...

The physical dimensions of your Gateway power spply are a little bigger than this particular power supply.  Could you get it to work? Probably.  However, the failure rate of this particular brand of power supply is rather high and if you have other options I suggest you persue them.

that wasn't my application.look at the power supplies form factor to see if it will physically fit then make sure it has all the connections you need. From there I'm pretty sure it will meet your power requirements

I wouldn't recommend this psu because the dimensions on this one and the psu that you need are different in size... On the psu that you are looking for the size of it is 3.4 x 2.5 x 7 and  it has a 40mm fan on it where this one don't ... On this psu that your looking at the dimensions are 3.2 x 1.7 x 6  it's a little smaller than what you need...

It looks to be the similar issue I ran into, the hp uses a mini ATX connector not a mini ITX. Check a few references to be sure I had to return mine because i didn't pay attention.

Model numbers don't matter much. Check the dimensions of your current PSU with this one and compare wattage. If the dimensions match, and the wattage is equal or below 220, then this PSU should be fine.

I don't know enough about it.  I had a slimline and thought they were the same.  But they weren't and I couldn't make it fit.  From what I understand now they have to match exactly. For example of you have a ps 1225-60 the ps 1225-62 won't match.  Sorry I can't be of more help. I don't know all the tech terms either.
