The Athena Power AP-U2ATX80FEP8 provides a robust 800W high output for your sever system. The EPS-12V 8-Pin and the additional P4-12V 4-Pin connector gives full support for Core 2 processors. Dual 40mm ball-bearing fans with a smart auto fan speed controller keep the sever chassis cool without producing excess noise. It features 80 PLUS Bronze certification and Active PFC for high efficiency. The remote ON/OFF feature is also included.
Multiple Support FunctionIn addition to supporting ATX V2.3, EPS-12V Xeon, and i7 motherboards, it also includes two PCI-E 6-pin connectors for advanced graphics cards running in quad SLI or Crossfire configurations. This PSU can be used for mini-servers, server assemblies, rackmount servers, and desktops.
Dual FansThe dual-fan (one is mounted in the front, and one is in the back) design is targeted to maintain a reliable source of power, and keep the system cooled. The rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system and pushes it through the front fan ,which is positioned towards the exit points of the server/system. This keeps the motherboard and hard drives cool.
Smart Auto Fan Speed ControllerWith its thermal fan speed control, it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer and spin accordingly. With this feature built in, worrying about the heat level of a PSU becomes almost non-existent.
