Does this support booting ISO files over EFI?

Well I am not positive as I have not done so but I think it is advertised that way. I do have an iso on it for backup purposes but it's for a rainy day. I would imagine it would work. Exactly what are you trying to do?

Can I boot UBUNTU or Linux ISOs with this? Can UBUNTU or linux see ISOs on it later Can Ubuntu or linux see files on it in non virtual iso mode?

There are three modes this device can be in 1. Cdrom mode 2.external hardrive mode or 3. both While it is in mode 3 you can both boot from an iso as long as it is selected you can read the iso file and you can add delete or move file on to the device. if the file is a iso it will work that means movies games iso burns of hard drives and of course iso for any linux distro long story short, questions: 1. yes 2.yes 3.yes Buy this enclosure if you do anything with ISOs than it will be easier with this product
