Does this support crossfire?

I looked around for any info on SLI/Crossfire for this PSU, but I couldn't find anything, so I'm going to assume that it is not certified for dual GPU's, but that doesn't mean that it can't handle it. For the most part it will depend on the video cards you are wanting to crossfire. Quoting Jay on Jayz 2cents, (youtube) You need an absolute minimum of 18 Amps on the 12v rail for a single GPU. 24 Amps for a higher end video card like a GTX 980. He says that 36 Amps should be your minimum for SLI/Crossfire. I'm going to say a bit more than that for AMD cards in the R9 era, seeing as they were not very energy efficient in comparison to Nvidia cards. This PSU delivers 59 Amps on it's single 12v rail.

There are so many things to consider when looking for the right PSU. The power supply is THE most important part of a reliable computer system, so try searching the internet for a Power Supply Calculator and input the hardware you currently have or are going to have in your computer to see what is recommended. I know this doesn't give you a definitive answer, but you really want to make sure, because the wrong choice can be the death of your computer...literally. Good Luck and take care!

Will this work on any computer?

It is a standard ATX power supply with a 24 pin power cable, so as long as you have the space inside your case you should be just fine with PSU. A lot of OEM computer cases (Dell, HP etc.) have less space (front to back) for longer power supplies. This PSU is fairly close to OEM sized units, but it's always good to err on the side of caution before making a purchase. Hope it works out for you!
