How is the texture of the front of this thing? is it glossy? or matte?

the case i use has a matte finish. it's really like a black metal, but plastic usually looks just fine if it's a textured finish.

what i don't want is smooth/glossy, nor do i want brushed metal look.

The metal grille is a smooth matte black with no brushing, however the plastic panel behind the grille is a glossy black, though you can't see much of it. Note that you may run into fit issues with this module if you're putting it in a different brand case. The metal grille extends around the front corners and that made it too big for my Corsair T600 case slot. We did fix that issue by just lopping off the side grille sections with a pair of metal dykes and filing the edges. Hope this helps!

Will this work with an Antec Eleven Hundred?

The Antec Eleven Hundred has clips on the sides of the bays to hold things in.  You can slip a ROM drive in so I see no reason you should not be able to slip this device in.

I already have one for my Antec 300 ATX Mid-Tower Chassis, which is what I bought it for!

Now I have a Antec VSK-2000 ATX Mini-Tower Chassis with a bolt-on-window(courtesy of Performance-PC's mod shop) on the side panel and I need to know if this will work in ALL Antec chassis or could you suggest something like this, but metal, and looks perfect with my incoming chassis?

I would say it should work with all Antec cases.it mounts on internal rack of case. Should not interfere with your custom side panel. I can't say for sure without seeing your rig..but I think its a safe bet you won't have any issues.
