Well, I've only had it working for 3 weeks or so, but I can say it is as fast as I expected it to be. I seldom have to wait for anything I'm trying to do. Much faster than my 10 year old Intel on my previous machine (still running). So, maybe I'm not the best judge of that. Watch YT videos for guy's who can help you install a stripped down version of Windows 11 (if that's your direction), without all the ads & privacy theft going on in the background. That'll keep it less busy.

In terms of temerature control? I don't think the CPU has a lot to do with that except for providing heat that has to be gotten rid of. I have a ROG RYUJIN III 240 ARGB, a two-fan water cooled AIO connected to the CPU and it is usually, almost consistently, at 31-33 degress C, with very occasional spikes up to 40C for a second, and I'm not pushing it hard at all; I am not a gamer, just an old fart managing my finances, watching videos & doing some writing/transcribing; for the record I've got 9 fans total in the system, but I could probably get a way with fewer.

One other thing - be careful installing the CPU chip. Don't know yet how I did it but I bricked my 1st MB bending the pins. Not the fault of the CPU! Go slow.
