I want to use this in my macbook pro--is it compatible??

Yes, I have a late 2012 13 inch macbook pro(non retina). Haven't had a any problems since installing back in September 2013.

Probably. Take the part number off the existing memory and look it up with Google. If the specs match, it will work.

I have a dell studio 1558. Will this work for me?

I am the person that originally asked this question. Dell Studio 1558 would not boot with this memory. The bios recognized the size but there are no memory controls in this bios. I could not even check whether it was throttling frequency down to 1333.
