Which is better this ram or the 8 gig DDR3 low profile ballistic ram reason asking when built last pc used 2 sticks of the cas 7 DDR3 ballistic ram I purchased but when ordered my motherboard received a free 8 gig stick of low profile DDR3 ballistic ram.. i like cas 7 which is better performance for gaming ?

The lower the CAS rating the better the performance. If you can find the spec on the ram that came with your motherboard you'll likely find it to be CAS 9. Will a lower CAS make a huge difference? No, not significantly.
