can i install 2 of these in my mac book pro i have 8gb now?

This RAM module is for the Mac Pro and not the Macbook Pro. This is a large DIMM stick (size of a candybar) which goes into desktops. You need a SO-DIMM module which fits in laptops (and some desktops too). They are a little bigger than a stick of gum. Go to Crucial's website and enter in your systems details. It will tell you EXACTLY the specs you need to be looking for when shopping for more ram. If you have any questions dont be afraid to pick up the phone and talk to the good people of customer service. They have the tools to cross reference and check to ensure the parts you are looking to buy is compatible with your system
