Would this work with the 2008 model iMac I have? The Apple website support page says there are two RAM slots for a up-to-2GB SO-DIMM card in each. Mine only has a single 1GB one currently, and because of this it is really starting to cause problems with multitasking newer applications. Also, if I were to try changing the RAM cards with no experience beforehand, is there a "good" chance that I would end up messing up the computer; or is it a relatively easy task? I would appreciate it greatly if you could answer :)

I originally used it to upgrade the RAM of a 2007 MacBook Pro, then moved it to my wife's 2008 iMac when I further upgraded my laptop to 6 GB. It's trivial to install correctly. However, as with all electronics, either do it in an area with relative humidity of perhaps 40% or more or ground yourself before touching anything, as ESD will kill a lot of chips.
