Hello, I saw that this is compatible with amd.. is it compatible with intel??? Getting this mobo ASUS Z97-A LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and intel i7 4770k processor?? Plz reply asap

Is there any actual performance difference between this and regular 1600 Vengeance memory?

Not that I have noticed. It almost seems as they are just low-profile instead of incorporating a large heart-sink. I have these in channel with a Corsair XMS3 8gb kit running at similar specs. I am running them at 16gbs, 1600mhz. Combined with my processor and SSD my machine has yet to have any problems related to RAM. My games run flawlessly, media streams perfect, and I don't have to wait for anything.  Everyone has different results based on config and hardware. I am running an all AMD build. 8350 OC'ed to 4.3Ghz, the 16gbs of RAM mentioned, and ASUS M5a99x Evo, with two ATI Radeon 7950's in crossfire, and two SSD's for games and OS.

Is this a low density chip module? Will this work with Dell Vostro 230?

According to Dell's Forum Website about the Vostro 230, it has a BIOS limitation that limits the amount of RAM you can install. It will handle up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM, but will only "see" 4GB of DDR3 RAM even if you were to install 8GB (2 x 4GB of Memory).

Unfortunately the Corsair Vengeance Memory Module is DDR3, you can try searching for DDR2 Memory Modules so your computer can "see" the whole 8GB.

Question 4

Is this memory compatible with GIGABYTE GA-H97-D3H motherboard?

While the official  list on the Gigabyte site doesn't list them, PC Part picker seems to say they are compatible. I didn't get this exact part for my gigabyte board (a different model than the one you are considering also), but after installation and a trip into the bios to set the timings to the correct specs, it has been rock solid.

Question 5

I am unsure how to find out what memory type I have on my computer. I am wanting to upgrade to 8 gigs I have 2 running windows 7 64 bit?

Memory is determined by the hardware rather than your OS. You will need to figure out what kind of motherboard you have.  You can then look up the specifications as to what kind of memory it takes through the motherboards manufacturer.  I would suggest looking at the actual board itself, it should list a manufacturer on it, usually on the heatsink over the Chipset.  The model number should also be printed somewhere on the motherboard..  If this was a purchased rather than handbuilt computer, you can look up the model number.  Be warned that sometimes computers are made with propriatary or unupgradeable memory from the factory.

Are these compatible with Asus motherboard M4A88T-M?

This memory is NOT in the listed memory compatibility sheet on Asus's website. However, memory compatibility is always changing and it would be wise to message their tech support and see if maybe the sheet has not been updated in a while since this is an older motherboard.

Question 7

I would like to overclock this memory to gain some performance on desktop responsiveness on my HT/Gaming rig.  Could it go past it's 1600 rating or would that be asking for trouble?  FYI, running an ASRock 990FX Extreme3, AMD FX-8320, and 7850 GPU.

I tried to find this exact part number on the Corsair site for a Dell 780 MT, but could not locate. It did have a 16GB Vengeance kit though (4x4GB sticks). I don't want to assume anything, so I would like to know if anyone has used CML8GX3M2A1600C9 (2x4GB) in a Dell 780 MT and had success?

I have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 and have been using 2 8gb kits (4 x 4gb) and have been rock solid since I installed them. Looking at the spec sheets for your Dell 780 MT you should have no problems running a 2 x 4gb kit, the motherboard has 4 dim slots but says it has a maximum of 8 gigs of memory, how much different in price would 4 x 2gb sticks be, you would get the full advantage of 4 slots running double data rate in matched pairs, hope this helps.

Question 9

Are the chips low density?
If so, will it work in an ASROCK G41C-GS motherboard? 
ASROCK says that the bios won't recognize the memory if it doesn't use low density chips.

With a motherboard that old, I'd recommend getting a standard (1066MHz or 1333MHz) set of DDR3 memory as the board itself only supports up to a maximum of 1333MHz DDR3 memory. Also verify that your CPU can handle DDR3 memory addressing, as older LGA 775 chips may not support DDR3.

Question 10

I already own 2 of these or 8GB  (2x4GB) for my 2015 build.   On Games like Grand Theft Auto and TC's Wildlands it keeps saying I am "running out/low on memory..." Does this mean I need more memory or is there something I need to do? (Optimize)
