Will this work on a X99, specifically on the ASRock X99E-ITX/ac LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99? Becouse here it says yes, but on the corsair website is says only Intel 100 Series platforms.

You're more than likely better off going with CMD32GX4M2A2666C15.  Reason being is you're not gonna notice the difference in speed at all since when you OC it, the timings increase.  The con in the pro.  As far as compatibility goes, Corsair says the model I mentioned is designed for the x99 and 100 series.

You need to look at what memory has been tested to work from their online documentation. It's always better to go with tested memory for stability.

YES! It will. That is actually the same set up I have along with the MSI GTX 980 video card. Just make sure to go into your EUFI/BIOS and activate the XMP setting or else the ram will only run at 2133.
