Has Corsair fixed their software issues that doesn't allow you to control this product?  I have an x99 platform and the RED LED version of this RAM constantly strobes but the software doesn't allow me to turn that feature off and keep them on solid.  The software doesn't interface properly and they haven't fixed it for over 6 months since I purchased the RAM.  I spent 800$ on 128GB of the RED LED Corsair RAM and they don't even respond to requests.

Corsair has updated there Corsair Link Software to Ver 4.6.0.86 | 03/20/2017.  This fix address numerous issues with platform Ram led Syncs.

Has anyone tried these with an Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero motherboard?

I have them installed on my ROG Maximus IX Formula . You will have to use Corsair software to control. There was rumor that Corsair and Asus was going to work together and collaborate not sure that ever happened. But my Memory works great just have to use Corsair software to control colors
