The new Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 NVMe M.2 2280 250GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 64-layer 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) WDS250G3X0C is 64 layer 3D NAND, has higher read rates (3100 vs 3000) and is priced about the same as the older one. I'm using both types and am quite happy with both.

HELP. Bought this to upgrade a Dell G5 series SSD . Loaded windows fine and began installing updates. Not getting BSOD with a stop code of IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL to?

Driver error, probably incompatable with drive from an update. Could be the new drive also.
Load previous saved restore poin from before the updates. If that works then try downloading and installing updates one at a time. Make a restore point each time. You may find it is a driver issue.
