will this work with a Toshiba satellite a665d-s6082?

It should. It works wonderfully with my Satellite c665d, which is a slightly older model. I would go with this as an inexpensive upgrade, but from what I understand of the a665d model it can actually handle faster DDR3 1333 RAM. In my case, the slightly older model I have was made for the DDR3 1066 that you are asking me about. Unless you are trying to run high end games go for it. I bought mine for use with my CAD software and 3D design and rendering, and I haven't regretted it.

Will this work in an APPLE late 2008 Macbook Aluminum body with 2.4?

You'd have to check the specific ram specs of your laptop. If it takes DDR3, it's likely this would work. Based on the year, I'd say it would probably work, but you should double check with the currently installed ram to be sure.
