You should check out another ram stick the timings are off, 9-9-9 24 on the Team Elite Ram
While it's just 9-9-9 on your machine. You can put it in but it wont be good for your computer later on.

Yes , I use this ram for gaming. And it has not failed at all. It's been a year and still going strong. I use in high gaming like battlefield 4 and high specs gaming. This ram is very great and for the price also .

Safe answer - If you are still under warranty, purchase from them and have an approved technician/facility install it for you. Dealing with Dell on warranty issues is worse than snaking a sewer line and clearing roots from a septic tank.

generic answer: use NewEgg's memory configuration tool if it pops up it *should* work.

You will not find a true compatibility list from DELL, and doubtfully for that motherboard.  Most motherboards are built for manufacturers according to their specifications by one of the big name companies.  If you can pin down which company produced the board for DELL find another in the same family (using the same chipset) and see what RAM they support.

Anyone know the difference between "Team Elite" and "Team Elite Plus"? The specs & price seem the same.

team elite plus I think has better heat spread and timming might be different but I have had both works the same for me

Is this ram non -ecc and would it be compatible with a 785g motherboard chipset?

This stick is non-ecc, what you need to do, is go to the motherboard manufacturer website and see if it is compatible
with your motherboard. 
I put this in a low budget machine, and have had no issues,
works well.
