    * Requires overclocking/BIOS adjustments. Maximum speed and performance depends on system components, including motherboard and CPU.

Designed for compatible AMD platforms, Trident Z5 Neo is engineered for high memory performance, making it the ideal choice to build a performance PC system.

    • Sleek and streamlined design, available in matte black
    • Dual OC Profile Support: Intel XMP 3.0 & AMD EXPO™ Memory Overclock Profile
    • Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.
    • Prior to enabling XMP or EXPO, memory kits will boot at the SPD speed at default BIOS settings with compatible hardware.
    • For memory kits with XMP or EXPO, enable XMP/EXPO/DOCP/A-XMP profile in BIOS to reach up to the rated potential XMP or EXPO overclock speed of the memory kit, subject to the use of compatible hardware. Enabling XMP or EXPO is an act of overclocking and requires BIOS setting adjustments.
    • Reaching the rated XMP/EXPO overclock speed and system stability will depend on the compatibility and capability of the motherboard and CPU used.
    • Usage in any manner inconsistent with manufacturer specifications, warnings, designs, or recommendations will result in lower speeds, system instability, or damage to the system or its components.

Refer to the G.SKILL memory kit QVL on the G.SKILL website to check motherboard compatibility.

The G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo is a 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 desktop memory kit with AMD EXPO, CL36 timings, and a black heat spreader, suited to compatible AMD gaming and enthusiast PCs that need a matched dual-channel upgrade.

    Recommended For

    • AMD Ryzen desktop builders who want a matched 32GB (2×16GB) kit and are willing to enable the EXPO profile in BIOS to target DDR5-6000.
    • AM5 gaming-PC builders looking for a two-stick memory kit for everyday gaming and multitasking, rather than a larger-capacity workstation configuration.
    • PC builders who want to use a matched memory kit instead of combining separate RAM kits; G.SKILL advises against mixing kits because it can cause instability.
    • Black, non-RGB desktop builds where the buyer prefers a heat-spreader design without lighting.

    Real-World Use Scenarios

    • Building an AMD Ryzen 7000 desktop for gaming and everyday use: pair the two-stick kit with a compatible AM5 motherboard, then enable its EXPO profile to target DDR5-6000; the system’s ability to run that setting depends on the CPU and motherboard.
    • Setting up a new PC and wondering why the RAM is running below its advertised speed: enable EXPO in the motherboard BIOS to apply the kit’s rated profile, if the CPU and motherboard support it; at default BIOS settings, it boots at standard SPD settings.
    • Gaming while keeping chat, a browser, and other background apps open: the 32GB capacity gives a typical gaming PC more room for concurrent applications than a 16GB setup, though results depend on the games and apps being used.
    • Replacing an older or smaller-memory setup in an AM5 desktop: the matched 2 × 16GB kit provides 32GB across two modules, a practical capacity for gaming and general multitasking; install the kit as a set rather than mixing it with a separate memory kit.
