    * Requires overclocking/BIOS adjustments. Maximum speed and performance depends on system components, including motherboard and CPU.

Ripjaws M5 RGB is a performance DDR5 DRAM memory series designed for compatible Intel platforms, featuring a matte black or matte white exterior design and customizable RGB lighting – making Ripjaws M5 RGB the ideal memory for a variety of PC builds and themes.

    • Customizable RGB lighting support
    • Available in matte black or matte white exterior design
    • Dual OC Profile Support: Intel XMP 3.0 & AMD EXPO™ Memory Overclock Profile
    • Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.
    • Prior to enabling XMP or EXPO, memory kits will boot at the SPD speed at default BIOS settings with compatible hardware.
    • For memory kits with XMP or EXPO, enable XMP/EXPO/DOCP/A-XMP profile in BIOS to reach up to the rated potential XMP or EXPO overclock speed of the memory kit, subject to the use of compatible hardware. Enabling XMP or EXPO is an act of overclocking and requires BIOS setting adjustments.
    • Reaching the rated XMP/EXPO overclock speed and system stability will depend on the compatibility and capability of the motherboard and CPU used.
    • Usage in any manner inconsistent with manufacturer specifications, warnings, designs, or recommendations will result in lower speeds, system instability, or damage to the system or its components.

Refer to the G.SKILL memory kit QVL on the G.SKILL website to check motherboard compatibility.

The G.SKILL Ripjaws M5 RGB is a 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 desktop memory kit with CL36 timings, suited to gamers and PC enthusiasts building a compatible AMD or Intel system who want high-speed memory and customizable RGB lighting.

    Recommended For

    • PC gamers building a compatible DDR5 desktop who want a matched 32GB kit at 6000 MT/s, with XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO available to enable the rated profile in BIOS.
    • Builders of RGB-focused desktop PCs who want black heat spreaders and customizable lighting as part of a coordinated build theme.
    • AM5 gamers choosing a 2-DIMM DDR5-6000 kit who are comfortable checking motherboard and CPU compatibility and enabling EXPO; DDR5-6000 is commonly used as a Ryzen 7000 gaming target, though results and stability depend on the system.
    • Desktop builders who want to replace an existing memory kit with one matched 2×16GB set rather than combine separate kits.

    Real-World Use Scenarios

    • For a DDR5 gaming PC used to play games while keeping chat, a browser, and launchers open, the 32GB matched kit provides memory for the game and common background apps; actual frame rates still depend mainly on the rest of the system and the game.
    • When setting up a compatible DDR5 desktop, a user can enable the kit’s XMP or EXPO profile in BIOS to target its rated memory speed; whether that setting is stable depends on the motherboard, processor, and configuration.
    • For everyday multitasking—such as switching between office apps, many browser tabs, and a video call—32GB gives a desktop more memory headroom than a basic-capacity setup, though demanding workloads can still use more.
    • In CPU-limited competitive games, the memory configuration can affect frame rates and frame-time lows, but benchmarks show results vary by game and system; this kit should not be treated as a guaranteed FPS upgrade.
    • For a black-themed desktop build where visible memory lighting is part of the look, the customizable RGB can be coordinated with compatible motherboard lighting software; available controls depend on the motherboard.
